Working with hot glass is addicting and I have become a "glassacholic." I have a wonderful studio behind my home in the Millburn Historic District of Old Mill Creek, IL. It's an inspiring place in which to work with bright light and overlooking McDonald Woods Forest Preserve. At present my passion is creating fused (melted) glass pendants, rings and earrings. I am using Bullseye glass and fusing at 1450-1550 degrees Fahrenheit. There is something magical about making this type of jewelry. As the glass fuses, it takes on the personality of its own making it truly unique and original. Some pieces may be similar but no two are ever exactly the same. The exciting part is that I am never quite sure how the final treasure will turn out!!
