On March 3, Sandra J. Noble was given the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Artisan of the Year 2011 Award at a gathering of her peers. For seven years, Sande has been creating jewelry from fine materials, 14K gold, sterling silver, gemstones and pearls. Sande’s intent for her one of a kind pieces is for them to be worthy of handing down. She has achieved her goal while becoming one of Chicago’s north shore premiere jewelry designers. Most recently hand sewn, handbags made of men’s silk ties, have been added to her creative repertoire along with First Communion jewelry of lustrous pearls and crystals, sterling silver and 14K gold filled chains and clasps.
