Diane Chikos is a fiber artist from Lincolnshire, Illinois. Her company, My Mimo, began seven years ago when she started making crazy animal hats for grandchildren, nephews and nieces. They were a hit with friends, also, so 
through word of mouth, she started making them to sell. which led to Artisan
 shows. In partnership with her daughters, she expanded into adult and baby
hats and scarves, super towel capes and then to little ‘blankies’, crinkle toys,
 bibs, burp cloths and fancy ‘dancie’ gowns for baby girls and sleep gowns with 
ties for baby boys. Everything is handmade and custom work is available.
